Landscape architecture is the profession that EnCompasses the analysis, art, planning, design, management and stewardship of the natural and built environment, including preservation and rehabilitation of the land and the design of human-made constructs. The scope of the profession includes architectural design, site planning, housing estate development, environmental restoration, urban planning and design, parks and recreation planning, regional planning, landscape urbanism, and historic preservation.

At EnSite, our landscape architects EnCompass all facets of Landscape Architecture by planning and designing traditional places such as parks, residential developments, campuses, gardens, cemeteries, commercial centers, resorts, transportation facilities, corporate and institutional centers and waterfront developments. We also design and plan the restoration of natural places that have been disturbed or impacted, such as wetlands, stream corridors, mined areas and forested land. Our appreciation for historic landscapes and cultural resources enables us to undertake preservation planning projects for national, regional and local historic sites and areas.
Civil Engineering is the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built EnVironment. It is one of the oldest and wide-ranging engineering professions. Civil engineers collaborate closely with other professions to fit projects within their given site, community, and terrain by designing grading and paving, drainage and stormwater management systems, water and sewer utilities, roads and other infrastructure. They also provide construction administration services, observe the construction process and provide final certification services.

The civil engineering staff at EnSite has experience with developing, designing, permitting, and certifying a wide spectrum of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, educational, municipal, religious, and parks & recreation. We responsibly coordinate with our client, consultants, and team members to meet the vision, goals, and schedule of the project. Our team offers a unique combination of outstanding engineering and communication skills that establishes positive, long-term relationships with clients, fellow professionals and the community as a whole.
At EnSite, we believe actual experience on sustainable projects is more important than the number of LEED AP’s on staff, and we believe that most clients seeking assistance are looking for the same. The EnSite team offers experience in sustainable design and low impact development (LID) concepts and the LEED rating system. We have applied our knowledge and services to many local LEED projects, making us one of the most experienced firms in the area. Three of our owners have degrees in landscape architecture, which is the profession founded on the core principle of being stewards of the land, and the fourth owner is a LEED AP. Our team is well-versed in low-impact irrigation design and the Florida-Friendly Landscaping principles, as well as the implementation of alternative stormwater management systems that are used in place of traditional treatment practices. We are proud to offer our sustainable design expertise as a means of creating more integrated development concepts.
At EnSite, we use Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to assist us in understanding, interpreting and visualizing data that forms the basis for our approach to planning, design and engineering. Through its extensive database, GIS reveals relationships, land patterns, and trends that help us establish an approach to land development. GIS enables us to better understand issues and opportunities that impact a project and allow us to easily communicate these findings to clients and communities through the use of maps and reports.
Project Management and Permitting:
The members of the EnSite team are seasoned project managers. We offer coordination and management of the consultant team as well as continuous communication to EnSure schedules are being met. We prepare costs estimates and budgets to assist with the financial planning of a project. The EnSite team also supports the bid procurement process, preparing bid packages, reviewing bids, and making recommendations. We have assisted our clients in obtaining countless site development, environmental resource and water use, utility and roadway, and right-of-way permits.

Graphic Design and Marketing:
At EnSite, our team understands the importance of making a good first impression - your marketing, branding, and presentation materials are a key to creating a lasting impression. Our talented design staff is well-versed in the creation of visual communication and presentations, especially in today’s world of digital and social mediums. We have the ability to provide our clients with a full “branding” package. A typical branding and marketing package could include the creation of logos, handouts, postcards, mailers, websites, business cards, brochures, and portfolios. The composition of the elements, such as the logo, text, and other graphics must successfully interact to unify the “brand.” We take great pride in our name and logo and the creation of our “brand,” which we have incorporated into our website, newsletters, handouts, and presentation materials, all of which are generated in-house.
