October 19, 2013
In 2010, we began our EnRichment program, devoting time and effort toward educating and participating in our community. This has allowed all of us to contribute to the long term success of the communities in which we live, work, learn and play. Known today as sustainability, our effort has enhanced our community through the provision of educational opportunities for students of all ages.
Our community involvement is threefold…time, treasure, and talent. Some of our projects (time/talent) include participation in the Take Stock in Children and STAMP mentoring programs, landscaping projects at Mariner Middle and Gulf Elementary Schools, design of the ROOTS Heritage Food Hub, Fort Myers YMCA design, Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce landscape design and many more. We also believe that understanding your community involves constant learning. For us, that means participation in Leadership Programs in Lee, Hendry, and Glades Counties, attending and giving lectures at all levels of education, involvement in STEM Education, serving on numerous boards for local non-profits including the YMCA, Imaginarium, The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, Firehouse Community Theatre in LaBelle, and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. Most importantly, our team is encouraged to volunteer for what they are passionate about.
As 2013 comes to an end, we are already thinking about the contributions that we can make in 2014 toward EnRiching the communities in which we live, work, learn and play.
