SWFL science and history make the news

We really, really wanted to call this blog post “Matt Johnson is 2017’s newest breakout TV star” because we knew he’d really enjoy that kind of attention. Ha! Truth is, he’s always been a behind the scenes kind of guy. Nevertheless here is the Imaginarium/SWFL Museum of History director with the equally soft-spoken Jon Ellsworth – the combined museum’s new president (yay!) – positively killing it on the Fox 4 Morning Blend. When you’re in charge of one of Southwest Florida’s most beloved community assets, and which is set to reach new heights in coming years, you have to bite the bullet and get right up in front of the bright lights and the camera glare. Good going, guys!

But why is EnSite, a design and planning firm, dedicating so much blog space to this cause? Because we’re so excited about the direction Matt and Jon and are taking the museum. Our own Jon Romine is still involved with things, as past president and creator of the museum’s conceptual plan. EnSite is all about making our community better – it’s where we live, work, learn and play – and so is the Imaginarium Group. Here we go! Lights, camera…
