The Go-To Gal
"Live life like you’re dying."
If anyone at EnSite needs something located, filed, submitted, tracked, or ordered, Cameron Cecil is the one to get it done, quickly and efficiently. She also owns the friendly voice that greets callers to the business. Like all of the teammates, she gets plenty of encouragement to stretch and grow her skillset.
Hers is already sizable, earning her not one, but two titles. A talented designer in her own right, Cameron is the company’s Administrative Assistant—and she’s an AutoCAD Technician who has been overseeing some interesting landscape projects on Sanibel and Captiva with the support of EnSite’s experienced leaders. She meets with clients to assess their needs, calculates the site and existing conditions. Then she draws up the existing site, “and this is where it gets extremely fun, starting the creative process!” She first considers the ideal vegetation to use, sketches out the design, then brings it to life in AutoCAD. “I love all the parts of my job,” she said, “but there is something about creating a project from start to finish that leaves me with a real sense of fulfillment.”
Another fulfilling aspect of Cameron’s job is the family-like culture at the office, which she describes as positive, light, and joyful. When she’s not at work she likes cooking for friends and family. She considers herself a klutz, but has the balance and coordination required for stand up paddleboarding (SUP). She volunteered at the 2015 Battle on the Blueway SUP race to benefit the Special Olympics.
